Educational institutions at every level
are integrating technology into all aspects of the educational
process. In particular, they are increasingly using data networks
to provide access to instructional materials, both in the
classroom and in other locations. Likewise, videoconferencing
is becoming more common in distance learning projects in higher
education and even in secondary schools. Colleges and school
districts are looking to Voice-over-IP technology to reduce
costs and increase the capabilities of their telephone systems.
ASCC can assist educational institutions at every level in
their endeavors to take advantage of information technology.
We engineer and install data networks and telephone systems
to serve education campuses and communicate between them.
We provide systems for managing AV materials, clock and bell
systems to keep things on schedule, and sound systems for
auditoriums. Even more fundamentally, we are experienced and
certified in communications wiring for voice, data, and video
networks. Perhaps more importantly, ASCC has performed these
services for hundreds of institutions at all levels, which
means that we understand the education industry and its special
requirements.
As a highlight to its role in the education market, ASCC
has been listed by the Midwestern Intermediate Unit 4 as an
awarded vendor for technology purchases, facilitating the
procurement of equipment and services by K-12 educational
institutions. Furthermore, we implemented an electronic commerce
application to simplify procurements under this contract.
As the above illustrates, ASCC is continually working with
educators to bring the future to today's classrooms.
